We begin by thoroughly cleaning your vehicle's headlights to remove any dirt or debris that may be covering them. Washing with clean water and soap will get the job done. After the wash, we dry them before beginning the next step. Washing the headlights first allows us to see the full extent of the damage before beginning the process. Once the headlights are dry, we will apply masking tape around the edges to protect your vehicle's paintwork while sanding.

The next step is wet sanding the headlights. This is done to remove the oxidation that is creating a cloudy haze over your headlights. We start with 1000 grit sandpaper and then move up to more ultra-fine 1500 grit, 2500 grit, and finally 3000 grit. This will remove the upper material faster without leaving scratches over your headlights. The sanding will also remove the old oxidized sealant.

Next up, we will dry the headlight and apply rubbing compounds. After the headlights are dry, there will still be spots where the headlights are blurry or hazy. This rubbing with a buffing pad onto the headlights with compound will help clear away these minor hazy spots.

While the rubbing compound is applied, we will follow up with a microfiber cloth to polish the headlight using circular motions. This will give your headlights a clearer, brighter finish. 

Finally, a protective sealant will be applied over your headlights. This new layer of protection is essential for your headlights as it will protect them against future oxidation and keep them clear for as long as possible.
