We start our paint correction process by analyzing your vehicle's current paint condition. This involves determining the type and degree of imperfections, such as deeper scratches, oxidation, or swirl marks, to identify the best paint correction approach. Assessing the paint condition will help our technicians select a suitable method, as different marks require different levels of force and equipment. Commonly used tools for evaluating a vehicle’s finish include buffers, clay bars, buffing pads, and machine polishers.

Choosing the right products and supplies is critical when correcting car paint. Our technicians will use a variety of tools such as a combination of rotary and dual-action polishers, and different grades of polishes and compounds. Different conditions of paint require particular types of compounds to eliminate scratches and swirl marks. We are dedicated to using eco-friendly products and practices whenever possible, and we invest in sustainable options to reduce our ecological footprint.

Next, we will start the practical preparation work, which begins with thoroughly cleaning, washing, and decontaminating the car to eliminate loose dirt and debris. We use high-quality pH-neutral car shampoos to eliminate all loose dirt, dust, and grime, as they won't damage the paintwork. After washing, our experts will use a clay bar to get rid of embedded contaminants that a normal wash cannot remove, such as iron, tar, and fallout. Next, the vehicle exterior surface is dried using clean microfiber towels to prevent water spots and scratches.

With the vehicle now clean and contaminant-free, the paint correction work starts. The objective of the service is to level the paint surface until the imperfections are no longer visable. The process involves multiple steps, each requiring a high degree of expertise and designed to progressively reduce and remove paint imperfections.

​The first step involves using machine polishing and cutting compounds to level the paintwork. This eliminates a thin layer of clear coat and decreases the visibility of scratches and swirl marks. After completing the cutting process, the paintwork is once again evaluated, and then a lighter polishing compound is employed to improve the finish and remove any holograms or buffer trails the initial cutting process may have caused. Next, a refining polish is used to further enhance the clarity and shine of the paintwork.

After completing the correction process, we give your vehicle a final polish to add an extra layer of gloss and shine to the paintwork.  We usually use a dual-action polisher as it creates a uniform, high-gloss finish. Finally, depending on your preference, we apply a protective layer, which can be a wax, or ceramic coat. This layer will lock in the shine, boost the gloss, and ensure long-lasting protection of your car’s paintwork against environmental hazards, increasing the longevity of the paint correction results.
